Bandwidth Status Display
(this should refresh every 10 seconds - if not, use this
link and your browser refresh button)
CGI Interface to control the
spectrometer
(password protected)
Information of the usage of SPICE can be obtained at the SPICE Home Page
To run Graffiti (data display program) on a Mac, use the following three links;
Graffiti is the Labview application to access the data, the runtime engine is necessary to run Graffiti,
and ncftp is used to get the data to your computer from HB1A.
Graffiti for Macintosh
LabView Runtime engine for Graffit (v7.0)
NcFTP client; choose the compiled version for your OS
(also, for Macs, use the low-bandwidth status display above)
Another Mac option is to have Windows installed to be able to run the PC versions of Graffiti and the Status Launcher, but but even this is not necessary just to download the data.
Go to (http://www.ncftp.com/download/ ...same link as above) and download NcFTP Client for your system and install it.
At the command prompt (Terminal for Mac OS X), run:
ncftpget -R neutron.ornl.gov
For example, to download the data for experiment 123 on HB1 onto your Desktop, run;
ncftpget -R neutron.ornl.gov Desktop /pub/hb1/exp123
If you have a favorite FTP client already, you can use it to accomplish the same thing.
